Final Fantasy XV First 45 Minutes Shown In Game’s Most Recent Build, HDR Support Confirmed

Although we’ve already seen the first hour or so of Final Fantasy XV’s gameplay over the past couple of months, we now have some footage of the game’s first 45 minutes in its most recent build. As we know, the game was delayed to November 29th for PS4 and Xbox One to give time for additional polish rather than players receiving a sizeable day one patch. As we can see from Polygon’s footage, the extra time has benefited the game’s presentation. Spoiler Alert!

In the gameplay, the party of Noctis, Prompto, Ignis and Gladiolus make their way around the world in their car, the Regalia, and on foot taking on some early quests and tussling with some enemies, meeting some of the game’s characters along the way.

Today, it was also confirmed via Famitsu that Final Fantasy XV would have HDR support for the Xbox One S, and presumably this would extend to support for the PS4 and PS4 Pro.
