Final Fantasy XIV Starter Edition Free on PS4 Until May 26th

Square Enix is offering the Final Fantasy XIV Starter Edition for free.

You can now pick up the Final Fantasy XIV Starter Edition for free on Playstation 4 until May 26th and it’s free to keep. All you’ll need to do before the end date for the offer is download the game from the Playstation Store which you will need 11.33 GB of space for.

The Starter Edition includes a 30 days of free game time for new registrations, after that ends you will need to a paid subscription in order to play. The edition doesn’t include the three major expansions of the game Heavensward, Stormblood and Shadowbringers, but will let you experience the game to level 50.

Recently Square Enix have shared that future updates for the title will be delayed due to COVID-19. Producer and director Naoki Yoshida expressed in a statement online, that the MMO’s next big update patch could be delayed by a month due to the current situation.

Final Fantasy XIV is available on PS4 and PC.
