Square Enix has announced that the Final Fantasy VII Remake has now gone gold, meaning all set for game day release on April 10th.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Goes Gold
While the Final Fantasy VII Remake has gone through a delay or two, originally set to launch in March, it’s now on track for its release date of April 10th. Square Enix or rather Tetsuya Nomura himself has shared that FF7 Remake has gone gold, meaning it’s ready to be shipped out.
The director Nomura shared this in an interview with 4Gamer, expressing that there would be no further delays as everything has now wrapped up for the game.
We had some time to improve the quality of the final product, but we have already mastered it, so there is no further delay.
The demo for Final Fantasy VII Remake is now available for free on Playstation 4. After playing it live on our Twitch channel today, I’m super hyped for the release this April. The demo allows you to try three different modes, Easy, Normal and Classic. Classic is a bit of strange one as you can easily sit back and watch most of it play out, but need to chime in now and again to walk Cloud to new areas or use heal, limits and abilities during boss battles. If you missed the stream not to worry as we will have another today, or you can catch the VOD.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is a reimagining of the original, mixing command-based combat with real-time action. The title sets to stay true to the original narrative but there will be some new additions.
Final Fantasy VII Remake will release on Playstation 4 on April 10th.
