Square Enix have just dropped the Final Fantasy VII demo on Playstation 4.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Demo Now Available

The official Final Fantasy VII Remake twitter account has just announced that the Final Fantasy VII Remake demo is now live on the Playstation Store ahead of its April 2020 launch.

This means you can “experience the beginning of the story” according to the Playstation Store page. But players should be aware that progress from the demo will not be carried over to the full version of the game. You can check out the first chapter which includes the Mako Reactor 1 bombing mission.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is a reimagining of the original, mixing command-based combat with real-time action. The title sets to stay true to the original narrative but there will be some new additions.

You can check out the demo for free available on the Playstation store. An exclusive PS theme will be available from April 10th.
