Final Fantasy On the Go
Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis tells the earlier parts of the original Final Fantasy 7 game, together with Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7. There’s also the new mobile addition Final Fantasy 7: The First Soldier which follows a young Sephiroth.
Ever Crisis follows your typical mobile game setup with gacha mechanics similar to Genshin Impact or Honkai Star Rail. Players can unlock story content and do daily missions. The free to play mobile RPG includes fan favourites Cloud, Barret, Tifa, Aerith, Red XIII and more. Combat features Active Time Battles which utilise spells and abilities all catered to a mobile experience. Of course, players can pay for premium items to speed up progress in game.

Recently the main line game Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth got news of its launch date set for February 29th 2024 on PS5. It sets to be quite a hefty game with the physical version getting two discs. Details of playable characters such as Red XIII and mini-games were detailed.
