Square Enix’s upcoming PC version of their popular Final Fantasy XV JRPG, has had it system requirements recently revealed.
Final Fantasy XV – Potato or No Potato!?
Dubbed Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition for the platform, its spec prerequisites were unveiled on Microsoft’s Store.
Compared with what was revealed at Gamescom 2017, it’s demand for processing power has been scaled down and no longer needs a monstrous GTX 1080 Ti graphics card in the equation.
FFXV Recommended PC Requirements (Gamescom 2017 Reveal):
- Monitor: supports 4K & HDR
- GPU: Geforce 1080Ti
- CPU: Intel i7 3.4ghz or Ryzen 7 1700
- RAM: 16 GB
- 5.1 or 7.1 surround headphone
- HDD: 170GB
- 5.1 or 7.1 surround headphone

Final Fantasy XV is currently available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. While the game will launch soon for the PC platform via Steam in early 2018.
Also, a smartphone version dubbed, FFXV: Pocket Edition is coming to iOS, Android and Windows devices in late 2017.
