2018 in review: Monster Hunter World, DKS Remastered and Awesome RPGs
In our fifth annual newsletter, we take a look of what the Fextralife community has achieved, from coverage of RPG games to user content!
Monster Hunter World was the winner for our Game of the Year award, and we feel it was much deserved. The game delivered a unique experience for veteran and new hunters alike, and we saw thousands of users come together to build a fantastic and detailed MHW wiki that is now the go-to resource for all your MHW needs.
Fextralife organized PS4, XboxOne & Game giveaways: resulting in dozens of community winners of prizes that included consoles: PS4, Xbox1, copies of Dark Souls Remastered, Red Dead Redemption 2 and more. We are running a Sekiro Giveaway near launch so open our next email in February!
We are now maintaining 150 wikis in 8 languages! Contributors added well over 75,000 brand new pages to our wikis in 2018, bringing the registered editor count to 76,000 accounts, and several hundred thousand anons.
The Fextra blog continues to provide review, preview and guide articles, including exclusive E3 and TGS content and previews capture for upcoming games all written by real gamers not afraid to tell you how it really is.
