Note that many of the Exotics listed below can be obtained via Exotic Engrams. There are multiple different ways to get Exotic Engrams including: Public Event Chests, Crucible, Strikes and Quest Rewards. So be sure to do these activities to increase your chances of obtaining one. In Destiny 2 Exotic Engrams are locked to your level, so there is no point in hording them until you reach cap (20). Howevery, you can “Infuse” Exotics of lower Level and bring them up to Cap so they are not wasted!

  • Cold Fusion: This weapon shoots a steady cold fusion-powered laser

  • Enhanced Battery: Strong battery life. Increases magazine size.
  • Longest Winter: Coldheart’s laser does exponentially more damage the longer it remains on a target.

  • Personal Assistant: Aim at an enemy to view its health and other critical information on the scope.
  • Extended Barrel: Weighty barrel extension. Increases range. Decreases handling speed.

  • Target Acquired: When Personal Assistant is active, this weapon has better target acquisition and deals more Precision damage.

  • Implosion Rounds: Grenades travel faster and have a controlled explosion. Increases projectile speed. Greatly increases stability. Decreases blast radius.

  • Black Hole: Third shot of a burst rips a hole through spacetime, doing high damage and recoil with no fall-off.

  • Accurized Rounds: This weapon can fire longer distances. Increases range.
  • Cosmology: Kills with this weapon cause enemy targets to detonate.

MIDA Multi-Tool

 

Weapon Type: Scout Rifle

Damage Type: Kinetic Damage

  • Mida Multi-Tool: This weapon boosts move speed.
  • Corkscrew Rifling: Balanced Barrel. Slightly increases range and stability. Slightly increases handling speed.
  • High-Caliber Rounds: Shots from this weapon knock the target back farther. Slightly increases range.
  • MIDA Radar: Radar stays active while aiming down sights.
  • Hand-Laid Stock: This weapon is optimized for recoil control. Increases stability.

Location: Complete the Campaign and reach level 20, then go to EDZ and complete the quest Enhance! Head to the Tower and talk to the Gunsmith there. Then use a Scout Rifle to get 50 “Precision” kills. At the same time, kill multiple enemies without reloading a total of 25 times and then talk to the Gunsmith at the Tower again. Next deconstruct five Rare or Legendary Scout Rifles and then speak with the Gunsmith in The Tower again. Then go kill 50 enemies with a Submachine gun while in the air and speak with the Gunsmith in the Tower afterwards to receive this weapon.


 

Rat King

  • Rat Pack: This weapon becomes stronger when nearby fireteam members also have it equipped. Stacks up to 6 times.
  • Smallbore: Dual strength barrel. Increases range. Increases stability.

  • Vermin: Reloading immediately after a kill grants a brief period of invisibility.

  • Arc Conductor: When taking Arc Damage, this weapon becomes more powerful and resists incoming Arc Damage. Kills extend the time in this overcharged state.
  • Arrowhead Break: Lightly vented barrel. Greatly controls recoil. Increases handling speed.
  • Extended Mag: This weapon has a greatly increased magazine size, but reloads much slower.
  • Superconductor: When Arc Conductor is active, shots fired have the chance to become chain lightning and return ammo.

  • For the Empire: This weapon is Full Auto, does extra damage to Cabal, and penetrates Phalanx Shields.

  • Accomplice: Kills with this weapon fill the magazine of the equipped Energy weapon from reserves.
