EVE Online New Free “Into the Abyss” Update Introduces Exploration Gameplay and More

CCP Games launches a new expansion today called Into the Abyss for the MMORPG EVE Online. Adding some new features such as exploration and PvE survival.

EVE Online New Free “Into the Abyss” Update

EVE Online the space themed online sci-fi game is getting a new expansion called Into the Abyss. Bringing a new place to explore called Abyssal Deadspace. Details of the expansions was release on the official website via patch notes.

Players will need to travel and fight their way through pockets of Abyssal Deadspace tenuously linked together in chains by Abyssal Conduits that are constantly opening and closing, with each pocket taking players around 20 minutes to complete.

Along with a new area comes a new environment inhabited by the civilization known as the Triglavian Collective. Possessing biotechnolgy the Triglavian’s can harvest existing modules and once used have unpredictable outcomes such as increasing/decreasing performance.

New destructive weapon systems are introduce known as Entropic Disintegrators. Those who have a subscription will be able to make blueprints to build and fly three new Triglavian ships. An improved interface for Planetary Interactions has been added to help maintain and understand the productive workflow.

    So, while No Man’s Sky gradually adds Eve Online type features for free (most notably improved multiplayer support), Eve is doing the same with No Man’s Sky features.
