Elder Scrolls Online Whitestrake’s Mayhem PVP Event Starts February 17th

The Elder Scrolls Online team just announced that the Whitestrake’s Mayhem Event starts on February 17. Whitestrake’s Mayhem is a PVP-focused event with various new rewards.

Bloodthirsty players will be able to get their fill of mayhem and violence in Elder Scrolls Online’s upcoming Whitestrake’s Mayhem PVP Event. This event was previously called the “Midyear Mayhem” event but moved as it apparently doesn’t happen mid-year anymore. Last year, players had the chance to participate in the New Life and Witches Festivals. Earlier this year, the Daedric War Celebration was also held.

The event will start on Thursday, February 17th at 10 AM EST and will end on March 1, 10 AM EST. This will give players 13 days to participate in the various PVP modes. During the event, all Alliance Point and XP gains are enhanced. Players will also be able to claim the Imperial City DLC for free from the Crown Store if they do not already own it.

How to Participate in the Whitestrake’s Mayhem Event

To be able to participate in the mayhem, players must go to the Crown Store and select the “Details of the Whitestrake’s Mayhem” quest. This will lead them into Cyrodiil to find the NPC “Predicant Maera”. If players already did the quest during the last Mayhem event, they won’t need to re-do this step anymore.

Once completed, players will obtain two items: the Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity and Pelinal’s Boon Box. We’ll discuss the rewards later on. Aside from the aforementioned XP and Alliance point increases, all harvesting nodes inside Cyrodiil will yield double the resources. Everyone’s favourite merchant, Adhazabi Aba-daro will be roaming around with her unique golden jewellery to sell.

Whitestrake’s Mayhem Rewards

As with any Holiday Event, Whitestrake’s Mayhem has tons of new and returning rewards. Let’s take a look at some of the goodies that you’ll be able to earn.

Black Drake Set

First off players will be able to collect the new Black Drake Clawnwrap style. This will let people be able to customize their equipment to look like quite the dashing and ferocious barbarian. The Black Drake Clanwrap Style pages can be looted off sweepers and bosses in the Imperial City. Players will also have a chance to earn the Legion Zero Vigiles Style Pages as well while hunting for the Black Drake armour style as they drop off the same monsters.

If you’d rather slather on some warpaint instead, you might be interested in the Black Drake Body and Face Markings. This is sure to make any player look as menacing as possible. These warpaints are dropped by bosses in the Imperial City as well.

VIctor’s Laurel Wreath

Players can also earn the Mayhem Victor’s Laurel Wreath collectible by completing all of the achievements related to Whitestrake’s Mayhem. Some of these achievements include Pelinerrif Insurgent, Mayhem Connoisseur, and Pelinavant the Scourge, among others. For a full list of required achievements and their conditions, check out the Midyear Mayhem Achievements section.

Pelinal’s Rewards

As mentioned we will be receiving a Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity. This item will grant a buff to the player that will double the Alliance Points gained and XP gained for player kills earned. The buff will last for two hours.

Pelinal’s Boon Box, on the other hand, will contain much more goodies. These can contain Tel Var Stones, Soul Gems, Repair Kits, Style Items, An Akaviri Motif Chapter (or the entire book), among others. Boxes can be obtained by completing things such as Battleground Quests, various PVP missions, and Imperial City daily quests.

Elder Scrolls Online Event Tickets

Lastly, players will be able to earn Event Tickets, much like any event in The Elder Scrolls Online. If one plays every day, they can earn up to 39 event tickets (max 3 per day) to spend on some nice rewards.

Some of the rewards include Soulfire Dragon Illusion Pet Fragments, Scales of Akatosh Skin Fragments, the new Black Drake Style Pages and Markings, a Bag of Veteran’s Glory, and Group Repair Kits.
