Elder Scrolls Online Scalebreaker and Dragonhold DLCs Announced

During the Bethesda press conference at E3, Zenimax announced the continuation of the Season of the Dragon for Elder Scrolls Online with unveiling two upcoming DLCs called Scalebreak and Dragonhold. It was earlier this year when the developer announced it would be releasing content that all relates to the dragons of Elsweyr. Their roadmap included four instalments starting with the Wrathstone DLC, Elsweyr Chapter which have already been release and two further DLCs set to launch Q3 and Q4.

Content Roadmap:

  • Wrathstone DLC dungeon pack (available now)
  • Elsweyr Chapter (available now)
  • Scalebreaker (Q3)
  • Dragonhold (Q4)

Scalebreaker

The first of the DLCs Scalebreaker will arrive in Q3, bringing two further dungeons called Moongrave Fane and Lair of Maarselok. Each of the dungeons will bring more challenges as you fight with your dungeon group against Dragons. The rewards will include new items and unique collectibles.

Dragonhold

The second DLC coming toward the end of 2019 will be Dragonhold. This will invite adventurers to whole new zone in the Southern region of Elsweyr called Pellitine. This vast wasteland was taken over by a deadly plague a couple of decades ago. Here you must team up with allies which includes the return of Sai Sahan to help reform the ancient Dragonguard order. You will also developer powerful new tools and weapons, putting an end to the Dragon before it destroys Tamriel.

These new zones will include new quests, Delves, World Bosses and more Dragon Hunt events.

You can check out the new cinematic that features the next part of the Elsweyr story:

More details of Dragonhold will be revealed at QuakeCon in July:

Both DLCs Scalebreaker and Dragonhold will arrive during the second half 2019, the exact release dates are yet to be announced.
