Elden Ring Release Date Delayed & Network Test Announced

Elden Ring’s Release Date has been pushed back to the 25th of February, 2022, as confirmed by the official Elden Ring Twitter account just minutes ago. No reason was given for the Elden Ring Release Date Delay, but as a consolation for players, there will be a Closed Network Test in November.

Elden Ring Release Network Test Details

In order to be eligible for the Closed Network Test you must meet the following criteria:

  • You must be at least 17 years old.
  • Own a PlayStationÂź4, PlayStationÂź5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and a set of accessories.
  • Those who can connect to the Internet at all times.
  • Those who are willing to actively participate in the test and report any problems or errors that they find.
  • Those who agree to the Terms of Service for the ELDEN RING Network Test Version
  • Those who can cooperate with the questionnaire after the test.

This means that the Elden Ring Closed Network Test will only be available to console players, not those playing on PC. You also DO NOT need Xbox Live or Playstation Plus to participate, which is a major plus.

  • Session 2: Saturday, November 13, 12:00 – 15:00(JST) [begins 7PM PST NOV 12th]
