Elden Ring Now Surpassed 16.6 Million Units Sold Worldwide
It was not long ago that Elden Ring was revealed to have been a major game launch on Youtube. But now the title has flown past the 16.6 million mark for units sold worldwide for physical and digital. This number was reported by Gamebiz via Gematsu as announced by Bandai Namco during their financial report which ended on June 30th 2022.
In May this year the game had already garnered 12 million units sold, reaching 13.4 million units by mid-May. The CEO of Bandai Namco Entertainment Yasuo Miyakawa has already shared plans that the company has their sights on a wider scope than just games for the Elden Ring IP.

Elden Ring has already smashed through a number of milestones including becoming the 6th most played game on Steam with almost 1 million concurrent players at the height of its popularity.
