Dragon Quest 11 Joins Google Stadia

As Dragon Quest’s 35th-anniversary approaches, happening this May, Square Enix has announced Dragon Quest 11 S: Echoes of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition is coming to Google Stadia.

Dragon Quest 11 S started out as a Nintendo Switch exclusive, and upgraded version for the original title that came out for the Nintendo DS and Playstation 4. The upgraded version also came to other consoles last December, replacing the original with the definitive version.

The definitive edition now joins Google Stadia with a discount, you can pick up Dragon Quest 11 on the platform currently for $31.99. The discounted price is available for a limited time only, reverting back to $39.99 on March 30th.

The title coming to Google Stadia opens up another audience for the JRPG franchise, delighting new players and old fans who may want to take up the adventure on a new platform.

However, recent news with the platforms has not gone unnoticed, Google announced they would be shutting down their in-house development of games. It is now up to studios and developers outside the tech giant to bring more games to platform. Dragon Quest 11 S at least brings another JRPG favourite to Stadia.

Dragon Quest 11S: Echoes of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition is now available onf Google Stadia, Nintendo Switch, PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
