The Dragon Age Inquisition trophy and achievement guide will help you with all the tips and strategies you need to earn 100% of the game’s trophies/achievements. The Platinum trophy for this game is not skill-difficult but requires time commitment.
- Time to Platinum: 90+ hours (on Easy, You need a second faster playthrough on Nightmare)
- Platinum Difficulty: 5/10 (mostly skippable effort but needs 2 playthroughs)
- Playthroughs required: 1
- Missable Trophies: 6 – On Burning Wings, Belle of the Ball, Persuasive, The Brightest of Their Age, People Person, Beloved and Precious
Most Efficient way to Platinum:
- First Playthrough: Best done on easy, enjoy the story and make sure to consult the information below to get the missable trophies such as agent recruiting. You can play on nightmare if you’d like. The bulk of your playtime will be here, so go slow and do EVERYTHING.
- Second Playthrough: Play on Nightmare difficulty, skip as many fights and content as you can, and use whatever means necessary to survive!
- Optional / Cheat / Shortcut: There’s a bug that allowed for item duplication and can buff your party for your nightmare run. If you have an unpatched game, you can use this exploit to make your Nightmare playthrough easier.

Alas, another set of trophies that will be lost in the midst of moving overseas and changing account…thanks Sony for being retarded!
The good news is that I will revert to the account that I platinumed the only game that matters on : Dark Souls (not entirely true…Bloodborne will be missed T_T).
In all the Dragon age games, I generally play a few characters on normal difficulty for one or 2 hours to get the hang of it, the feel of the basic skills and gameplay etc…I pick what I really like and then I start a nightmare run because this is SPARTA!
I did this back in the days because I loved the tactics system and once you programmed your team properly any other difficulty was only just a joke. But the DA3 nightmare difficulty got under my skin after I saw the solo nightmare playthrough of “boy vs videogame” : no companions, just the inquisitor solo…both in Warrior and Rogue. Brilliant…I ended up doing it as a mage and it was a blast (tedious sometimes but hey…you must earn it!).
