Disco Elysium Is Now 20% Off on Steam
If you haven’t picked up the quirky detective RPG Disco Elysium then now’s a great time as it is now 20% off on Steam this week celebrating its slew of awards and nominations. Not only did the developer ZA/UM pick up best narrative at the The Game Awards last year but also Best Independent Game, Best RPG and Best Indie. It also received awards at the New York Game Awards and the 23rd D.I.C.E. Awards as well. You can now grab the RPG for $31.99 on Steam.
The story based RPG puts you in the role of detective as you use a unique skill system to solve crimes. Disco Elysium is an isometric RPG with plenty of freedom of choice and attempts to stay faithful to tabletop role playing games in a video game setting. The title has turn-based gameplay and is set in an open world, where players can venture through and experience its unique animations.
Last month ZA/UM also added Hardcode Mode, introducing a number of changes that makes your life that more difficult in the city district of Martinaise. This includes upping the challenge to complete Checks, meaning a higher chance to fail, and coming across money less likely. However it’s not all doom and gloom, as you might find that you may go down a path you wouldn’t have originally tried. You’ll have to think more critically and more wisely with the choices you make. You will level faster and higher than before, if only a bit.

Disco Elysium is available on PC, with console versions arriving late this year.
