Ever since Destiny 2‘s launch on consoles and PC late last year, Bungie’s latest online shooter has been mired with criticism over its lack of and locked content, among others.
Destiny 2 – Open Access!
In an effort to patch things over with fans, Bungie has taken a step forward by opening up access to the game’s ‘Iron Banner’ and ‘Faction Rally’ activities for Guardians to participate.
Initially these events were sealed behind Destiny 2‘s “Curse of Osiris” DLC that required players to first purchase before being able to join. You can check out the changes being made below, which will come to the title via an update.
Iron Banner
- Players who do not own Curse of Osiris may once again access Iron Banner when available
Faction Rallies
- Players who do not own Curse of Osiris may once again pledge to Factions during Faction Rally events
Destiny 2 is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
