But now, Destiny 2 is sitting on the top, and thanks to a 90% discount the Ubisoft title, Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry is holding second place.
Pushing Everybody’s Golf and Dragon’s Quest III down to third and fourth place respectively.
Data aggregator and analyzer Media Create recently released their weekly analysis of the retail market. We learn that the 50,263 copies sold by Destiny 2 are 78.30% of its initial shipment, which is isn’t too terrible.
Comparatively, it is roughly a third of the sales Destiny made, selling about 141,000 copies on its first week.
Media Create explains that besides being an “online only game”, Destiny 2 on PS4 was sold without a bundle at retail, unlike its predecessor Destiny.
