We get another trailer for Death Stranding, the more we see, the more confusing it looks. The trailers features more of the environment and follows the protagonist through a world where creatures aren’t all seen by the naked eye.
Death Stranding Closer Look with New Trailer at E3 2018
Hideo Kojima the mastermind behind Death Stranding has been working on the game with the first teaser being revealed at E3 2016, two years ago. We got a new, longer trailer today at Playstation’s E3 2018 press conference showing some more the story as well as the creatures that exist in the world of Death Stranding.
The trailer shows off some of the gameplay, the first half of the video along with the last part shows the actual gameplay but with some altered camera angles for dramatic effect. Revealing further mysteries about the the game, following Sam the main protagonist who is seen venturing across harsh environments of Denmark and hiding from monsters that appear invisible but leave huge hand shaped tracks. We also get another look at the baby that still hasn’t really been explained but shows some connection the main character.
We also get a glimpse of two new heroines played by Lindsay Wagner and Léa Seydoux. Léa is renowned french actress known for films such as Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. While Lindsay is well known for her roles in films such as The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman.
What’s interesting about the 3D scan of Lindsay, is that they took a scan to recreate her younger version. While other cast member have yet to be revealed, the trailer does show more than we had previously learned about the game.
The trailer also features a song by Low Roar, making the visuals and combined aesthetic that much more dramatic.
The release of Death Stranding is still unknown at this point, but as usual if we hear any news we shall keep you updated.
