Dead Space Remake Developer Update Coming This Week

A livestream to be held on Friday will give an update on the Dead Space remake.

Dead Space Remake Developer Update Coming This Week

The Dead Space remake was revealed last year in August being developed by Motive Studio. A fresh look at the upcoming remake will be happening this Friday 11th, when the studio will give an update on the sci-fi horror classic’s development.

So far we have had a glimpse of what’s to come with the teaser trailer, plus some early work-in-progress footage. The previous live stream shared the developer is going to “stay true to the original” but new features such as cutting off limbs will be more complex helping players gauge their damage progress with some more gruesome details.

If you want to catch the live stream be sure to watch it on Friday 11th March at 10 AM PT/1 PM ET over on their official Youtube channel. As for what it will cover, the official Twitter for Dead Space has released a small clue. On the Dead Space reddit, Caden from the developer team shares they will be covering Sound Design, and if the teaser is anything to go by it will be full of creepiness.

The Dead Space series has three main games launched between 2008 and 2013. The franchise also gained a few spin-offs including the puzzle-action game Dead Space Ignition and the rail shooter Dead Space Extractions. The main entries of the series are based on the 26th century featuring Isaac Clarke who fights undead beings known as Necromorphs.

Dead Space remake has no release date as of yet but will be coming to Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
