Dead Cells Developer Motion Twin Announces First Paid DLC

Motion Twin the developers behind the indie smash Dead Cells has announced their first paid DLC.

The paid DLC The Bad Seed is the first to be released for the rogue-like Dead Cells, and will be releasing in 2020. It sets to add tonnes of new content for $4.99, adding two new biomes called Arboretem and Swamp. There will be new deadly explorable areas with plenty of challenging enemies to face. A brand new boss will be found at the end described as “exceedingly creepy” by Motion Twin.

There will be brand new items to test out which includes a deadly scythe which stands double the size of the main character. The Bad Seed will offer an alternative early game route, meaning everyone can try out the new areas, new players and old.

Dead Cells: The Bad Seed will release in Q1 2020 for $4.99.
