Prior to the launch of Dark Souls Remastered on the Nintendo Switch hybrid console, there will be a network test which is scheduled for September 21st to 23rd.

Those who want to take Dark Souls Remastered for a test drive on the Switch, can download the client from the Nintendo eShop now for free. The test was announced via Bandai Namco US Twitter account:

The network test will be available during these times as follows:

American Times

  • September 21 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. PT
  • September 22 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. PT
  • September 23 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. PT

Europe Times

  • September 21 from 19:00 to 23:00 CEST
  • September 22 from 19:00 to 23:00 CEST
  • September 23 from 19:00 to 23:00 CEST

Japan Times

  • September 21 from 18:00 to 22:00 JST
  • September 22 from 18:00 to 22:00 JST
  • September 23 from 18:00 to 22:00 JST

Those who take part in the network test will be taken to the Undead Parish, being able to access single-player and multiplayer content. Switch players should note Nintendo have launched their Online Service and will need to subscribe in order to access online multiplayer features. You can try a 7 day trial for free and be able to play this weekend.

Dark Souls Remastered launched earlier this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC back in May and will now launch on the Nintendo Switch on October 19, 2018.
