Dark Souls Gets an Early Release on Steam

The new remastered version of Dark Souls (which includes the Artorias of the Abyss DLC) launches a day earlier than other platforms on Steam and it now available to play.

Dark Souls Released Early on Steam

Originally set to release on May 25th along with PS4 and Xbox One, Dark Souls Remastered gets an earlier release on PC via Steam. Unfortunately console players will have to wait for the scheduled release date of 12am ET on May 25th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Reviews on the Steam platform are currently quite mixed with reports of technical issues such as bugs and crashes. There are also reports of cheaters and hackers already in the game, let’s hope this gets sorted ASAP.

Dark Souls Remastered is currently available on Steam for $39.99 and is available for pre-order on PS4 and Xbox One releasing on May 25th, 2018.
