Congratulations to the winners! As a note nobody won the Platinum prize which is over 1 million sold in the region. If only our own Fexelea was in the running, she’d have won the Platinum 50 times. So what games do we think will appear here next year? Final Fantasy XV? Mass Effect Andromeda? Nioh? Horizon Zero Dawn? Perhaps some as of yet unknown games? We can’t wait to see what the next year has in store for us!

I know it’s been said for quite awhile now that console gaming has really taken a nosedive in Japan/Asia. The fact that no game this year received a Platinum award underscores this. From what I’ve read, I think FFXV has a shot (since, I believe, it’s already sold more than half that in the region).
As for next year, I don’t know – my wallet & I are still reeling from finding out that Horizon & Torment are releasing on the same day (2-28-17)!!!!!
