The first DLC for Dark Souls 3, Ashes of Ariandel is live for all regions on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The expansion is 14.99 USD on its own or is included as part of the Season Pass for 24.99 USD. The expansion whisks players away to a frozen landscape to do battle once again against challenging enemies.

Ashes of Ariandel Contents

• New Location: Painted World of Ariandel
• 16 New Weapons and Shields
• 5 New Armor Sets
• 4 New Spells
• 1 New Ring
• New PvP combat zone, called the Undead Match or colloquially, the Hollow Arena
• 2 New Bosses

How to Access the DLC

• In order to access Ashes of Ariandel, players must purchase and download the DLC, then proceed to speak to an NPC at the Cathedral of the Deep. Warp to the Cleansing Church Bonfire to find him kneeling beside the altar between the church’s large doors. Speak to him and exhaust his dialogue to trigger a cutscene and at which point you will be transported to the beginning of the DLC.
