With Gamescom 2016 launching today, many fans hoped to see the Dark Souls 3 DLC make it into Namco’s booth.
Visiting the premises, however, gave us only a view of some nice figurines.

The official twitter account for Dark Souls has since revealed an announcement for an annoucement, coming August 24th. This is most likely the expected DLC – but given the last major announcement was merchandising, don’t get your hopes too high!

I’d buy the DS2 Shadow set (and cross fingers for a Fume Sorcerer Mask). My least favorite of the series, but it had that armor combination, so it weighed out for me.

Stuff that looks like something out of the game > normal stuff that references the game. I’d wear a Xanthous Crown. Or, if that’s too unrealistic, probably Karla’s Hat or a Pharis Hat.

Slashy Souls was exactly what it was supposed to be. A comically bad Souls translation to get people saying the word “souls” a few more times than they already were.
I had a blast with it honestly. The achievements were hysterical.

idk i have no hopes for dlc since it was stated before it had a fall eta and aug isnt fall. the new patch notes seems too short but in conjunction with a “announcement” it may be foreshadowing a dlc in the upcoming month. Im thinking a sept release and one for march. that gives them a few months to adjust things in after first dlc drops while keeping interest in the game bc if we compared it to other games the hype has waned.
