Vendrick

Missable: In order to unlock this trophy you will need to have progressed far enough into the game in order to unlock the King’s Ring. In the same room as the ring is Vendrick, who is an optional boss. This boss has a very high resistance, so it’s best to retrieve the three Souls of Giants found in the Forest of Fallen Giants after retrieving the Ashen Mist Heart from the Ancient Dragon. Once you’ve collected these, head back down to where Vendrick is located and whack him a few times with your preferred murder stick/sparkly magic bomb. He will eventually start attacking you and he hits hard too, so be prepared to dodge a lot of his attacks or have a high defense.
Supreme Weapon
Reinforce a weapon to it’s limit.
Missable: Though recommended for your NG+ playthrough, it can be missed during your first playthrough. In order to do this you will first need to unlock the blacksmith located in Majula who can upgrade your weapons and armor. Once you’ve done this, you will need to have at least 6 titanite shards, 6 large titanite shards, 6 titanite chunks, and 1 titanite slab. For information on how to get this ore, visit here.
Gesture Maestro
Learn all gestures.
Missable: Throughout the lands you will be able to run into NPC’s that have the ability to teach you gestures, all of which are missable. So be sure to be on the lookout for these NPC’s.Full List of Gestures:
- Welcome: This will be one of the first gestures that you learn, as the Crestfallen Saulden will teach it to you in Majula.
- Fist Pump: Upon unlocking the gateway to the Undead Lockaway Bonfire in Huntsman’s Copse you’ll find an NPC by the name of Creighton the Wanderer, once you go through all his dialogue you will be able to learn this gesture.
- Duel Bow: Requirement: Token of Fidelity. Once you’ve recovered a Token of Fidelity go speak to the NPC located after the boss fight with the Old Dragonslayer. Talk to him and you will eventually gain access to this gesture along with access to the ‘Protector Covenant’ trophy.
- Joy: Requirement: Fragrant Branch of Yore. Eventually you will come across a statue of a woman petrified to a door, use the branch on this statue in order to unpetrify the woman. After this DO NOT press the switch she was blocking, instead head back to an NPC outside. This NPC, Jugo, will teach you this gesture afterwards.
- Warmup: Requirement: Ring of Whispers. Eventually you will stumble across a half man and half scorpion NPC named Tark after the third bonfire in the Shaded Woods. After you kill Scorpioness Najka, speak to him with the ring equiped and he will eventually teach you the gesture.
- Hurrah!: Requirement: Ashen Mist Heart. In the Forest of Fallen Giants, head to the area right before the ironclad warrior and the firebombers and take a left, once you do you will find a petrified giant that you can interact with. Once you have interacted with it you should be transported into the ‘Memory of Vammar’, here speak to an NPC named Captain Drummond who will teach you the gesture.
- This One’s Me: Right before the throne room in Drangleic Castle, you will find a ghost who will teach you this gesture after talking to him.
- Have Mercy!: In the Undead Crypt you will find an NPC shortly after the first bonfire, who will speak to you about not producing light when you are in the same room and you shouldn’t. Speak to him and he will teach you this gesture.
- Prostration: There are two ways you can go about learning this gesture. One is to pay the NPC Laddersmith Gilligan 2000 souls when you first meet him, or wait until he moves to Majula after the defeat of the area boss in Earthen Peak.
- Decapitate: You can learn this after speaking to an NPC by the name of Head of Vengarl found in a small clearing in the Shaded Woods.
- Mock: Requirement: Fragrant Branch of Yore. Eventually you will stumble upon a cell in the Lost Bastile blocked off by a statue of a man. Use the branch on him and then speak to him, you will then be able to learn the gesture from him.
- Praise the Sun: After the second bonfire at Harvest Bonfire, you will find a path that obscures to the left that will lead to a shrine guarded by a shotel giant, kill the giant and pray to the bonfire, here you will be able to learn this gesture and also get the ability to earn the Brilliant Covenant trophy.
