Corepunk represents a synthesis of our favorite settings and themes from science fiction. Over the course of five years, we’ve expanded our team to over 100 people to ensure our vision of the ultimate futuristic fantasy comes to life. We can’t wait to have MMORPG fans live out their technocratic dreams with us.

Corepunk let’s players create their own characters, choose their preferred fighting style, each with their own set of abilities. Customise your characters strengths through talents and artifacts which can be picked up throughout the game. The game has plenty of options, with allowing players to choose the attributes they want to pursue. There is also an indepth economy system which includes crafting and trading in-game. The way the story pans out is quite different to most MMOs too, with branching quests and alternate endings making each playthrough a different experience.
The world is very much apart of the gameplay experience as well, Corepunk has day/night cycles and event has dynamic weather with the fog-of-war system. Using these weather changes can help ambush foes in PvP. The PvP component sets to include a competitive challenge with the Honor Points system, but anti-griefing measures are also in place with the karma system to keep newer players from being constantly hunted. Getting to know character’s strengths, weakness and ability cooldowns will all play a crucial part in combat.
Other features include rich lore, arenas, battlegrounds, farms, randomly generated dungeons, raids and crafting as well as mining professions. Team up with other players to take on more challenging content that would be daunting on your own.

While Corepunk sounds like it’s the full package, we look forward to hearing more about the MMORPG. So far the visuals look like a cross between WOW and League of Legends with a cyberpunk edge. Controls seems to be concentrating more on point and click combat with a top-down view found in the likes of Diablo or Path of Exile. From the trailer it looks like it’s fully voiced and has plenty of places for you to get lost in, the mention of seamless world exploration is also great news.
Corepunk is set to release on PC in 2020.
