Bandai Namco Entertainment, developers of upcoming souls-like Code Vein have finally announced the release date for their title, alongside several bundles and special editions and crossovers. A new trailer and some images accompany the reveal.
Code Vein Release Date September 27th 2018
The official twitter account for Code Vein has revealed that PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game will release on September 27th, whilst the Steam version will be available on the 28th. If you are unfamiliar with the game, make sure to check out our hands-on and developer interview, or peruse details on how systems such as weapon upgrades and multiplayer work.
- PS4 is the only platform that will receive a physical copy, so if you are looking for a disc you will have to be on the Sony platform
- Special Preorders begin on June 21st
Code Vein Special Collector’s Edition
A “Bloodthirst Edition” was also announced for Japan, featuring the game, a soundtrack, a hardcover book and a figure of Mia in action, for the hefty sum of 13,800 yen (about 140 USD)

Code Vein is already available to pre-order on Amazon for those who don’t want to miss out on getting their copy first, available for PS4 and Xbox One.

Spyro Remaster comes out on the 21st of September too. Big month for gaming, it seems.
Why September though? Dragon Quest 11, Spider Man and Code Vein all in a single month.
Alright, September 27th. I got the right date now.
I didn’t understand 95% of what was said in it, but that trailer was hype. The story is looking intense. The God Eater weapons are a nice bonus as well.
Also, how do we get that Code Vein X God Eater Theme? I want it.
