Bethesda is also adding other thematic elements from the series to the game, including a pre-war cowboy outfit, The Ghoul’s revolver, a wedding dress, and a Vault 33 jumpsuit.
The latter item will be available for free to anyone who logs into the game between today and May 7th. If you’ve ever wondered what the statistics and S.P.E.C.I.A.L attributes of the characters from the ‘Fallout’ series on Amazon Prime Video are, they have now been made public through their inclusion as possible dwellers for our shelters in Fallout Shelter, the console and mobile game about creating and managing a thriving community. Although there is some mildness in the way they are represented, at least it serves to give them some context within the rich and diverse universe of the games.
What’s The S.P.E.C.I.A.L System In Fallout?
The Fallout series of video games has a tabletop role-playing game component, and S.P.E.C.I.A.L is an acronym for Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility, and Luck. In other words, it is an acronym for the base attributes that each character has: Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility, and Luck.
Commonly, with slight variations from game to game, these attributes can range from a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 10. Obviously, the higher the number of one of these qualities, the better the character will be in it. In games like Fallout 3, we choose what the S.P.E.C.I.A.L attributes of the character we create will be shortly after their birth.
This allows us to create a personalized gaming experience, as for example, a character with high Charisma gets special dialogue options that sometimes allow us to solve situations by talking instead of shooting, while Strength determines the weight our character can carry or the damage they inflict in close combat.
