CD Projekt Red Confirmed for E3 2018 to Feature an RPG

The developers CD Projekt Red of the acclaimed The Witcher 3 have confirmed they will be attending E3 2018 and will not be coming empty handed as they are going to feature a RPG. Confirmation of the next RPG has yet to confirmed but there are some rumours of what it might be, more information below.

CD Projekt Red Confirmed for E3 2018

The official E3 website database has the developer CD Projekt Red listed confirming that they will be attending E3 2018. They will be sharing a new RPG title which has yet to be named, but rumour has it that it will be Cyberpunk 2077 a sci-fi themed RPG coming. The listing is under the categories “Role-Playing” for platforms PC, PS4 and Xbox One. So a continuation of their popular card playing game GWENT is unlikely to be showcased.

Further news to support the ongoing Cyberpunk 2077 project is that CD Projekt Red opened a new studio in Wroclaw, Poland earlier this year. The open-world RPG will not be including loot boxes which has caused a lot of controversy amongst the gaming community in the past.

E3 2018 will take place from June 12-14 in Los Angeles. What do you think the developers will be releasing? Are you hoping for Cyberpunk 2077 to make an appearance? Let us know in the comments below.

  1. I heard they’re going to make an entire RPG wrapped around their game “Gwent”, which will only serve as a minigame inside it.
