Focus Home Interactive and developer Cyanide Studio are showcasing their Lovecraftian horror game Call of Cthulhu at Gamescom 2018. They recently released a video that features Edward Pierce’s investigation which takes place in the ever so eerie Hawkins Mansion.
Call of Cthulhu’s New Gameplay Video Explores Eerie Hawkins Mansion
Call of Cthulhu is an investigative horror game, based on the pen and paper RPG of the same name which was created by Chaosium. The game follows the main character Edward Pierce as he investigates the murder of the Hawkins family but slowly starts to lose his sanity the more he learns in the creepy setting of Darkwater Island.
This trailer features gameplay of Edward as he first arrives at the mansion which is at the start of the story. The video highlights some of the different features players will expect for Call of Cthulhu, dialogue confrontations with the strange locals and investigative gameplay as you explore new areas with the help of stat progression and abilities. Players will make choices in situations which will affect the outcome of the story.

Call of Cthulhu is set to release on PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4 on October 30th 2018.
