Bandai Namco had recently announced an upcoming closed beta for the anime-like MMORPG Blue Protocol, but now announce it has been delayed.

Bandai announced the Blue Protocol Closed Beta which was suppose to take place soon for Japan servers, but has now been postponed due to Coronarvirus concerns. Since the outbreak a number of industry events, development and more have been affected, either cancelling or delaying normal gaming activities. It looks like the beta is not any different as the official Blue Protocol twitter account shared the following (Google translated):

The new schedule for the closed beta is set for mid-April but no exact date has been announced as of yet. The team is currently working from home during the Covid-19 outbreak in order to ensure reduced exposure.

But Bandai Namco have also released a new screenshot of the stunning city at night, which shows the environments are shaping up to be pretty detailed.

Recently the developer shared their thoughts on Blue Protocol having a global release, they are keen to have it go international but are needing to recruit to make this possible.
