A new Kickstarter update has emerged on Koji Igarashi’s anticipated spiritual successor to the renowned Castlevania franchise, the action-RPG Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night – New Update!
It comprises of a bunch of stuff and first of which, is the new traditional Japanese-inspired level, complete with “scenery and colorful autumn leaves”. Igarashi also provided a little insight into the stage’s overall design, explaining:
we’ve been busy adding interactive assets to make the environment more lively, so you can see things moving and spinning as you navigate the stages.
The other items in the update include a glimpse into the protagonist‘s expanded fashion and weaponry repertoire, as well as a look at a bizarre new enemy type. All of which, you can check out down below.

The new enemy ArtPlay has designed here is called the “Plume Parma“.
