Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon an 8-bit Castlevania-esque Action Platformer Trailer

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon an 8-bit Action Platformer

Inti Creates are comprised of ex-Capcom employees who have an impressive resume of retro-styled action platformer games. They have worked on the likes of Mega Man Zero and ZX, Blaster Master Zero and Mighty Gunvolt Burst. That to say the least means the right people are on the job in creating a retro styled Castlevania-esque spinoff.

Upcoming RPG Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night by the designer Koji Igarashi (known for Castlevania) is releasing later this year, was originally a highly successful Kickstarter campaign. It had a stretch goal to have an 8-bit spinoff game made, Curse of Moon is the outcome of that goal. Check out the trailer below:

What do you think of this 8-bit spinoff? Are you excited about the release of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night later this year? Let us know in the comments below.

If love things all Koji Igarashi check out Konami Announces Castlevania Multiplayer Mobile Game, the Castlevania Netflix Series Season 2 Coming This Summer and our preview for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Looks pretty neat. It’s cool how you can change characters at will. It’s also kind of amazing that a stretch goal was an entire game.
