Bloodborne Patch 1.09 Released

Hunters booting up Bloodborne today will be pleasantly surprised to discover a new patch. Patch 1.09 addresses some issues with weapons and perhaps more significantly changes the offerings that can be purchased, potentially alleviating some concerns when farming for weapon upgrades. The official patch notes from the Japanese site are as follows:

Bloodborne Patch 1.09 Information

Patch 1.09 for Bloodborne. It was released on December 21 2015.

Changes to weapons

  • The strength and stamina cost for several weapons has been adjusted.

Changes to Insight Shop

  • In order to trade for the Blood Stone Chunk, the necessary amount of Insight has been changed from 30 to 20.
  • Trading for the Blood Rock is now possible. 60 pieces of Insight are required.
    • A certain portion of the main game must been cleared in order to access the above. (you must defeat this late game boss)

Several other fixes and adjustments have been made.

Kirkhammer

Though costly at 60 Insight, the opportunity to now purchase Blood Rocks is a welcome option for players, and the lowering of the cost for chunks will also help those who would rather trade insight instead of farming. The intriguing and mysterious piece of info there is the weapon adjustments. Keep checking the patch notes on the wiki for testing results from the community. As confirmed, changes will be added there as well as their respective individual weapon pages.
