Today, Sony blogged all over its European audience to confirm that Bloodborne will be receiving a Nightmare Edition as well as a previously announced Collector’s Edition. The entire release can be read over at the Playstation blog.
The Collector’s Edition (€79.99 RRP) is set to contain the following:
- Bloodborne PS4 game
- SteelBook case
- Premium art book with exclusive concept art
- Digital soundtrack of the game
The Nightmare Edition (€119.99 RRP) lists these items:
- Bloodborne PS4 game
- SteelBook case
- Premium art book with exclusive concept art
- Digital soundtrack of the game
- Bloodborne gothic notebook
- Quill & red ink set
- “Top Hat” Messenger skin
- Bell trinket
There are also preorder incentives available at specific retailers that include skins for the Messengers (“Fedora” and “Bandages” are the varieties listed) as well as the “Saw Cleaver” variation of the SteelBook (art work shown below).

On the Sony Europe’s blog comments section (blog linked above), Product Manager for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe posted the following;
“The Collectors Edition will be available in North America. But the Nightmare Edition is for SCEE markets only (UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Iceland, Israel).”

Looks cool. I always have a hard time spending the money on these things though. Maybe when I have more space to put sweet figurines and art books.

This announcement is not “official”, it was leaked by an online store.
I’m sure the official announcement will be made in psn blog soon.
Good thing i didn’t order the collector’s edition yet. Not sure where I’ll find the cash for something like this but if it his NA I’m probably in
Man these editions are getting more and more expensive as time comes by, and I’m getting a PS4 when Bloodborne comes out. Might spend the extra buck to get it though, since it has so many collectibles.
I find these editions that come with these books/ tiny collectible items better than the big action figures/or the statues thing simply because it’s easier to put away compared to action figures where you pretty much have to display it somewhere.

Now that does have my interests. I’m not usually one to buy collectors editions but something about the art book and quill and ink set are calling to me. Now if only they will release it here in the states I’ll be all set.
