FromSoftware’s brutal action-RPG, Bloodborne will be getting a comic book tie-in that’s coming next year.
Bloodborne – BB2!?
Called Bloodborne: The Death of Sleep, the comic will be handled by Titan Comics, who has also worked with Bethesda in putting out comic book tie-ins of their The Evil Within 2, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus and Dishonored 2 IPs.
The Death of Sleep will have its illustration done by Piotr Kowalski (who also worked on the Dark Souls: Legends of the Flame comic) and its story written by Ales Kot. The writer, Kot, happens to be a massive fan of Bloodborne and has put in some 200 hours into the title, immersing himself to research the game’s universe.
“I put close to two hundred hours into playing it and researching its universe, and that was before I even knew there would be a comic — I was obsessed. I am honored to be working within the Bloodborne universe …” said Kot
Issue #1 of Bloodborne: The Death of Sleep is planned for a release on February 2018 and will be available in both paperback and digital formats. You can check out its official description and cover down below.
“A nameless Hunter awakens in an ancient city where horrific beasts stalk the shadows and the streets run slick with the blood of the damned. Seeking an escape from the endless Night of the Hunt, the Hunter embarks upon a dangerous, gore-filled quest with the hopes of ending Yharnam’s twisted endemic.”
In other Bloodborne themed goodies, you can check out the adorable Hunter & Plain Doll figurine set, this Hunter tapestry as well as this upcoming clothing line for November.
Bloodborne is now available on the PlayStation 4.

It’s the same guys that did that Dark Souls comic that was a little… Iffy.
Maybe the sci-fi game From is working on is the spiritual successor to Bloodborne?

Either that, or they are doing some very overdue milking of the IP with all this merchandise.
I’m hoping for the former…….but only is Miyazaki wants to do it…………or a spiritual successor.

[concern intensifies]
Now why would they market Bloodborne so long after release?
There’s only one conclusion: Bloodborne 2.
