Blasphemous A 2D Non-Linear Platformer Releases Sept 2019

According to the Indie World Showcase Blasphemous is releasing this September 26th, however there was a slight typo during the livestream and the actual release date for all platforms is September 10th.

The dark action platformer started its Kickstarter campaign in 2017, securing well over its $50,000 goal with a $333,246 total backing. It grabbed the attention of many who were taken by its gothic style and merciless gameplay that takes inspiration from 2D sidescrollers with metroidvania influence.

Earlier in June developer The Game Kitchen showed more of the title in a new trailer, showing some of the forsaken lands as well as levels players will face. The title is set to bring “devastating combos and brutal executions”.

The latest release trailer is just as hellish, showing more bosses, fights, moves and just plenty horrific scenes. You can check out the release trailer below:

Blasphemous will be arriving on September 10th on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
