Blackguards 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch today. Fans of the turn-based RPG can experience the title on a new platform after it originally launched on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The game features a dark fantasy setting with a gritty storyline, deep lore and strategy mechanics.

Set in the dungeons of Aventuria, main character Casia awaits her chance to escape and claim the Shark Throne as the rightful owner. In order to achieve this, she must overthrow the man who took everything from her, recruiting Vanquishers of the Nine Hordes and mercenaries. The dark tale will lead Cassia to lead an army of criminals in hopes of victory, with death overhanging.

It’s up to the player to choose their playstyle, with different types of combatants on the front lines such as dangerous mages as well as ranged fighters. There’s up to 20 characters that can join the party and take their place in battle. Choices are key to not only victory on the battlefield but also through the whole game. With different endings possible, you must navigate Cassia’s fate through your choices as well as the fate of the whole crew.
