Black Myth Wukong has received a new patch and continues to refine its technical aspects following its release. This new update brings a significant number of fixes as well as some adjustments to the Chinese Folk Lore inspired ARPG’s bosses.

Black Myth Wukong New Patch

This game arrived on PS5 and PC a few days ago, offering an action RPG formula with soulslike elements. However, the release had some bugs that needed to be addressed through patches.

One of the most substantial patches has now arrived for Black Myth Wukong. The game has welcomed update 1.0.8.14860, which addresses several optimization, graphical, and translation issues to enhance the gameplay experience.

Additionally, this update also reduces the power of one of the game’s optional bosses, Captain Wise Voice, who can be encountered in chapter three.

• Fixed an issue where enabling FSR could cause problems for some players during the opening or prologue.
• Fixed a crash issue in certain areas when NVIDIA Full Ray Tracing was enabled.
• Fixed an issue where hair would stretch abnormally.
• Optimized hair effects for the Yaoguai King “Lingxuzi.”
• Fixed an issue where certain enemies could get stuck moving in specific situations.
• Slightly reduced the stats of the Yaoguai King “Captain Wise Voice.”
• Fixed an issue where the lesser Yaoguai “Lantern Guardian” in the Pagoda Realm could push players against walls.
• Fixed an issue where the Protagonist could get stuck when performing “Spinning Thrusts in Thrust Stance” and become unresponsive.
• Fixed an issue where the Protagonist could not change stances correctly in chapter six.
• Fixed an issue where the Protagonist could encounter stat errors in specific situations.
• Fixed an issue where the display of portrait collection progress in the journal was incorrect.
• Corrected some text errors in Chinese.
• Added translations for portraits in various languages and optimized existing translations.
• Added translations for titles and lyrics in the music library in multiple languages and fixed display errors in English lyrics.
• Optimized translations for talents, equipment, and inventory in several languages and corrected some text errors.
• Improved subtitle design in multiple languages.
• Optimized the translation of loading screen tips in various languages.
