Obsidian has revealed the system requirements, accessibility features, editions, and pre-order bonuses for Avowed, its highly anticipated fantasy RPG, arriving in February 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Game Pass.

Avowed Launch: Editions, Content, and Early Access

From the creators of RPG classics such as Fallout: New Vegas and Star Wars: KOTOR II, alongside notable titles like The Outer Worlds, Grounded, and Pillars of Eternity, Obsidian returns to medieval fantasy with Avowed.

Clearly inspired by The Elder Scrolls, this RPG is set in the Living Lands within the world of Eora, the same fictional universe introduced in the Pillars of Eternity series.

Through an Xbox Wire post, Obsidian’s Communications Director shared numerous new details about the game’s editions, pre-order bonuses, and accessibility features. Previously, it was confirmed that the game would run at 30 FPS on Xbox consoles.

Release Date and Platforms

Avowed will launch on February 18, 2025, for Xbox Series X|S, Windows, Steam, xCloud, and all Game Pass tiers except Game Pass Core. For the first time, it will also be available on Battle.net, Activision Blizzard’s online platform.

The game will release in three editions:

• Standard Digital Edition: Includes only the base game. Priced at $69.99 (also available on Game Pass day one).
• Premium Digital Edition: Includes the base game, five days of early access, two premium skin packs (Eora Collector’s Set and Obsidian Collection), a digital art book, and the game’s soundtrack. Priced at $89.99.
• Premium Steelbook Edition: The only physical edition, featuring a download code for the game, all contents of the Premium Digital Edition, a world map, and a collectible steelbook. Priced at $94.99.

The Premium Editions grant early access starting February 13, 2025. Additionally, Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers can link their accounts with Battle.net for cross-platform functionality.

Accessibility Features

• Adjustable field of view.
• Camera motion toggle.
• Adjustable text and subtitle sizes.
• Button remapping.
• Support for 12 languages in text (voiceovers in English only).
  The game will feature both first-person and third-person modes.

• Graphics: AMD RX 5700 / Nvidia GTX 1070 / Intel Arc A580.
• Memory: 16 GB RAM.
• Storage: 75 GB SSD.

Pre-orders are now open for all editions of Avowed via Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Battle.net, the Xbox app for PC and mobile, or at select retailers for the physical edition.
