Ubisoft announced Assassin’s Creed Origins is coming to Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with a 60fps patch.

Assassin’s Creed Origins Heads to PS5 and Xbox Series with 60fps Patch June 2nd

Ubisoft have announced both Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will be getting a 60 fps along with the arrival of Assassin’s Creed Origins on these platforms on June 2nd. No news was given on whether the game will receive 4K support or other visual enhancements, but the framerate has been confirmed by the developer.

Assassin’s Creed Origin will also be available on Xbox Game Pass for this month, arriving on June 7th, available on Cloud, console and PC. Other titles will include For Honor: Marching Fire Edition available today on June 1st, Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection available on June 2nd, Chorus on June 7th and Disc Room on June 7th. These games are a part of the first wave of games heading to Game Pass this month.

In case you missed it, Assassin’s Creed Origins is an Action-RPG set in ancient Egypt which was released in 2017. Players can explore the open world freely whether on horseback, camel-back or even by boat and sail the Nile. Discover Alexandria and Memphis, the ancient cities as well as underwater exploration. Taking on the role of a Medjay called Bayek, work to protect the people of the Ptolemaic Kingdom, against the upheaval caused by the Pharoah Ptolemy XIII’s fight to keep control over the kingdom. The game includes historical figures such as Cleopatra, and Roman commander Julius Caesar, weaving history and fiction into an adventure.

Assassin’s Creed Origins receives the 60fps boost on June 2nd, and will also come to Xbox Game Pass on June 7th.
