Ash of Gods: Redemption is coming to PC on March 23rd, console release to follow

Here’s one that fans of the Banner Saga and Darkest Dungeon may be interested in. Ash of Gods: Redemption will be released on March 23, for the PC platform through Steam.

Ash of Gods: Redemption is coming to PC (and consoles eventually).

It was another great Kickstarter project. It’s  a unique RPG title that makes use of visual elements mated with a strategy-based gameplay. It takes inspiration from similarly themed titles such as Darkest Dungeon and Banner Saga. Check out the video below, which focuses on rogue-like storytelling in Ash of Gods.

In terms of gameplay, players will decide the fate of their comrades. These decisions will have a great impact on the path that the story takes.  Players will be in-charge of a party of adventurers whose resources are on the decline, which according to the developers will play a huge role in tough decisions throughout the game. Depending on your choices, party members – and even the party’s leader – may die and the story would continue without them.

As it typical for this kind of a turn-based, tactical RPG, the graphics are pretty basic. Still nice enough.

Ash of Gods: Redemption will be AurumDust‘s first-ever release. Console releases (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, mobile, and the Switch) are also planned for later in the year.
