Fallout, based on the popular Bethesda video games, has already confirmed its second season, and filming will begin sooner than expected. In recent statements by one of its stars, Ella Purnell, it seemed like the wait would be longer.

Filming for ‘Fallout’ Will Begin In A Few Weeks

The one who let the spoiler slip was Leslie Uggams, who plays Betty Pearson, a key character in the Vault 33 storyline. After the shocking finale of the first season, fans are eager to discover what new surprises the Wasteland holds.

Filming will start in November 2024, according to the actress in an interview with ScreenRant. Although no release date has been set yet, it looks like the wait will be long, possibly until 2026, given the time it usually takes between production and the release of each season.

The first season of the series was a huge success with both critics and audiences, earning 17 Emmy Award nominations, including Best Drama Series. Amazon Prime Video, the platform responsible for distribution, quickly announced the series’ renewal, demonstrating their confidence in the creative team and the potential of this adaptation.

The series received praise for its faithfulness to the original material, as well as the standout performances of its cast, particularly Ella Purnell as Lucy MacLean.

“It’s an amazing, amazing show. I was with the Vault people, so I didn’t see what the Earth folks were doing. So when I came out, I was astonished. But Betty has a few tricks up her sleeve. Don’t stop following me,” Uggams said. “We start in November. I’m excited for it,” she added.
