The sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence called A Plague Tale: Requiem is getting a demo this June and will be available online.
A Plague Tale: Requiem Demo Releases June
It was announced that A Plague Tale: Requiem, the sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence will be getting a gameplay demo at the Tribeca Festival in June. However, fans of the game who don’t have a chance to attend won’t have to miss out, as they will also be able to check out the demo online. The demo will only be available on PC and an Xbox controller will be required according to comicbook.com. A ticket will be made available on May 2nd which will be needed to check out the demo. The demo will preview 40 minutes of gameplay.

The sequel to the rat filled narrative-driven story title, got announced back in December, with a release window of 2022. The title looks to continue the adventure of Amicia and her brother Hugo. In this entry, Hugo’s power will be reawakened, which causes the siblings to flee once again. Hearing about a prophesied island that could be the answer to saving Hugo.
If the sequel is anything like the first title, we’re in for a heck of a load of rats, which you can control to do your bidding. The Steam page teases a variety of tools, stealth, stunning visuals and the opportunity to unleash a swarm of rats.

According to the official Summer Game Fest twitter account, A Plague Tale: Requiem will join a lineup of games that include, Cuphead: Delicious Last Course, American Arcadia, As Dusk Falls, Immortality, Oxenfree II, The Cub, Thirsty Suits and Venba. They also will be showcased on June 10th as part of the Summer Game Fest.
A Plague Tale: Requiem sets to release in 2022 for PlayStation 5, PC, Nintendo Switch (via cloud streaming), and Xbox Series X|S. It will also be available on day one on Xbox Game Pass.
