Final Fantasy XV Comrades Standalone Multiplayer Launching December 2018

Square Enix announce during their 2 year annivesary livestream event that Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer: Comrades will launch later this year as a standalone title for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Those who already own the Comrade DLC from the Final Fantasy XV season pass will automatically gain the standalone version for free. Square Enix plan to do away with the DLC in FFXV once the new version goes live. You will still need to download the standalone version separately if you want to play the game. Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer Comrades will contain 10 newly released bosses, costumes and new weapons. If you ever wanted to dress up as a giant Moogle, well now’s your chance.

The season pass will also be receiving a price cut on December 13th, the new price will be $14.99. Also those who own Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition will receive Comrades standalone for free as well.

Final Fantasy XV is currently available to play on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer: Comrades will launch later this year on December 12th for US and December 13th for Europe and Japan.
