Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales on Nintendo Switch Doesn’t Look Likely

With Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, the Gwent RPG spin-off releasing on PC fairly soon, and console coming in December, there has been no mention so far if the Switch will get a version.

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales on Nintendo Switch Doesn’t Look Likely

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales is a standalone card game RPG that follows the The Witcher franchise, evolving from Gwent: The Witcher Card Game with added elements. As it makes it’s way to PC tomorrow as well as Xbox One and PS4 in December, it’s a wonder if it will join the Nintendo Switch hybrid.

According to an article on Eurogamer, when they asked the developers of Thronebreaker CD Projekt Red, a spokesperson replied:

There are no plans to release Thronebreaker on any other platforms than PC (GOG.COM), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

This is a very closed statement as it doesn’t imply a possible future plan for the Switch, but we will have to see if anything changes for the foreseeable future.

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales joins PC via GOG.com on October 23rd as well as PS4 and Xbox One on December 4th 2018.
