Previously, PlayStation Japan’s official YouTube channel released a mysterious teaser showcasing a post-apocalyptic project in the works for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.
Metal Max Xeno – Vroom, Vroom!
Referred to as “True End of Century RPG” at its unveiling, the footage featured various armed vehicles, with flashbacks of war and a red-headed character in a world buried under sand.
Recently, new information has surfaced from the latest issue of the Famitsu magazine revealing that the mysterious video is actually the next Metal Max game in the turn-based, vehicular-combat, open-world RPG series, dubbed Metal Max Xeno. The upcoming title will see players collect an assortment of vehicles in which they can customize for battle.
Publication for the open-world RPG will be handled by Kadokawa Games, who also worked on the tactical-RPG God Wars: Future Past, that was released in June earlier this year.

Sooooo, it’s like Mad Max but more sci-fi, more monsters, and more anime? Cool.
