Cold Symmetry have announced that the Mortal Shell Free Rotten Autumn update will be the first content update releasing on October 22nd.

The first free update for Mortal Shell will be releasing today on October 22nd. The free Rotten Autumn update sets to bring a new mini-quest, ten new skins, an alternative soundtrack, and a powerful new photo editor. These additions are all part of the free update.

If you haven’t picked up the souls-like Action-RPG Mortal Shell is now 20% off on the Playstation Store and Epic Games Store. Those on Xbox One can get the 20% discount on October 27th.

The update focuses on Gorf, a gigantic amphibian who will provide a new mini-quest. If you manage to satisfy Gorf’s requirements you will gain some rewards such as ten new Shell shades. There are also new skins, Soloman’s Dracula-inspired war-paint and Eredrim’s regal yellow trim.

Don’t forget to take some great shots with the new photo editor, which can be accessed from the pause menu. Choose from a number of photo editing options to commemorate some of the amazing scenes from Mortal Shell. There is also a new alternative boss fight soundtrack by Rotting Christ. This needs to be download separately in order to be accessed.
